Spurs prized rookie center Victor Wembanyama completed his first “tunnel walk” ahead of his NBA regular season debut, and fans had plenty to say.
The No. 1 pick of the 2023 NBA Draft is set to make his first regular-season appearance on Wednesday night when San Antonio hosts the in-state rival Mavericks in its first game of the new campaign.
Ahead of the clash, Wembanyama was dressed in a black jacket with some black pants and black sunglasses to match. The 7’4” center looked poised as he walked down the tunnel into the Frost Bank Center for his debut on Wednesday.
His entrance stirred up some conversation among NBA fans on social media, who weighed in on his first-ever “tunnel walk” outfit with some jokes about his otherworldly height.
