Kansas City Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce addressed the media during Super Bowl LVIII Opening Night.
Not all of the questions Kelce was asked had to do with Sunday’s clash against the San Francisco 49ers. At one point, the 34-year-old was asked about the playing future of his brother Jason Kelce, who is widely expected to retire this offseason.
Travis hinted that may not be the case, however, saying that he thinks Jason will be playing for the Philadelphia Eagles during their season opener in Brazil in 2024.
“I think so. I don’t know. I’m not a betting man, but I think he’s got some football left in him,” said Kelce of his brother potentially playing in Week 1 next season.

“I don’t know. I’m gonna leave that up to him,” said Kelce when asked about the odds of that happening.
The Eagles were announced as the designated home team for the NFL’s first-ever game in Brazil, scheduled for Week 1 of next season, with their opponent yet to be revealed.
After Philadelphia’s playoff exit, Jason has not yet announced any retirement plans, saying that he’d make any announcement “when it’s time.” Travis seems to think his brother still has that itch to play, suggesting that Jason’s iconic career may not have reached its end.
